Listening

Up above my head, in the kitchen, I can hear the dishwasher going. Listen closely, and it sounds like the music from a South American rainforest band. Rhrhrhrhrh, swush, swush, swush, the water and motor kind of sound like frogs (or instruments mimicking them) and the tap, ping, ping, tap, ping, ping of the water on the glasses an the pots and pans jostling around sounds lightly, and a bit hollow-like, in the background- like a rain stick. It's rather relaxing.
